DocuClipper alternative for bank statements

By the StatementToSheet team · Updated

If you only need bank and credit card statements in Excel, CSV or QuickBooks, a dedicated statement converter costs a fraction of DocuClipper per page. DocuClipper's Starter plan is $29 a month for 60 pages; StatementToSheet gives 5 pages a day free and 200 pages for $12 a month. DocuClipper is the better choice if you also process invoices, receipts or scanned documents, or need SOC 2 and team features. The details are below.

How much does DocuClipper cost?

These are DocuClipper's US dollar prices as listed on its pricing page on October 20, 2026. The annual price is shown per month and is billed for the full year; monthly prices are worked out from the yearly savings DocuClipper shows next to each plan.

A typical monthly bank statement is 2–4 pages. 60 pages covers roughly 15–30 statements a month; 200 pages covers roughly 50–100.

What DocuClipper does that we don't

DocuClipper is a broader document-processing platform. Choose it if you need any of these:

  • Invoices, receipts and checks, not just statements.
  • Scanned statements (OCR). We currently support text PDFs downloaded from online banking.
  • Automatic categorisation of transactions and financial analysis such as cash-flow and fraud reports.
  • Direct Xero and QuickBooks integrations, an API and team features like audit logs and SSO.
  • SOC 2 Type II certification, which some firms require from vendors.

When StatementToSheet is the better fit

  • You convert statements, not every kind of document. You pay for one job done well instead of a platform.
  • You want to try it on a real statement first, without signing up. 5 pages a day stay free, not just for a trial.
  • You don't want your statements kept anywhere. We process the PDF in memory and discard it; there is no document library to store it in. See how we handle your data.
  • You want to see the check before you download. We recompute the statement's running balance for every row and show the result on screen.

Do both check balances?

Yes. DocuClipper says it checks every statement against the bank's own balances, and so do we. Either way, a balance check is the feature to insist on in any converter: without it, a skipped row or a flipped sign can go unnoticed until reconciliation.

How to switch

There is nothing to migrate. Take a statement you already converted in DocuClipper, run it through the StatementToSheet converter, and compare the two files. If you import into QuickBooks, see how to upload a QBO file. You can also see all converters compared.

Try it on your own statement

5 pages a day are free, no account needed. Your file is processed in memory and never stored.
